The government is engaged in an unprecedented - and expensive - effort to rescue the economy. A total of 11.5 Trillion dollars was allocated to help our ailing economy. For a list of what it includes click here.
With all of this money being promised and spent by our elected officials I want to take a look at what 11.5 Billion gets you in the softball world. At $349 a piece it would get you 32,951,289,398 Easton softball bats. At 27.5 Million a year you could pay 418,181 Alex Rodriguez's to play for your team, you could pay 1,428,571 Travis Hafner's. At $100 a piece you could shave 115,000,000,000 bats. You could pay everyone who adult who plays ASA softball (2,500,000) $4.6 million each. At 1.3 Billion you could build Yankee Stadium 8,846 times. Give me some bailout comparisons, e-mail them to 29@softballohio.com.

When is it not?
